This proposal has been written with the aim of putting forward Madrid as the city to hold this international student organization’s conference in three years’ time. We will expand the reasons for Madrid to be your choice throughout the piece of writing.
It is common knowledge that Madrid is a suitable city to hold any sort of event, not only thanks to its up-to-date facilities, but also thanks to its warm weather, welcoming citizens and convenient centrality. First of all, we would like to mention what a complete public transport network Madrid boasts. The city’s good reputation for this is due to the ease with which you can reach any part of the city, for there are plenty of buses and trains as well as a world-famous metro network, which will cheaply and quickly take you anywhere. Besides that, our mayor has just put forth a law that will come into force by next month, consisting of carrying out a major reconstruction of our international airport, which we are convinced will more than meet your needs.
Of equal importance is our wide range of hotels, hostels and motels. We totally understand that not all students will be able to afford a central and luxurious hotel. That is why we would like to stress Madrid boasts reliable and affordable accommodation. Moreover, a project for a new conference centre has just come into force, which we presume will be just ideal for housing a considerably high number of students for a low amount of money.
Madrid is widely recognized, as well, as one of the most amusing and lively cities in the world. It offers an endless list of activities to do, such as visiting fabulous museums(Prado, Reina Sofia), strolling around peaceful parks or entering very fashionable stores, which will entice our visitors to push the boat out. Above all, Madrid offers all of this and more not only in the early morning, but also late at night, thus being well-known as the city that never sleeps.
To end with, we would like to underline our magnificent weather conditions, which we believe will help everyone feel comfortable and make the most of their time in our city.
We would urge you to consider our proposal seriously, for we firmly believe that this city will provide you with an unforgettable conference.
