Wedding traditions in different countries
Every culture has its own wedding traditions, which are sometimes quite similar with other cultures' traditions. Some traditions originate from the past but some are inspired by the modern living. There are plenty of customs and superstitions about weddings. I would like to make a comparison between Irish and Macedonian wedding traditions. The Irish groom is often invited to the bride’s house before the wedding where a goose is prepared for him and he is treated well by the bride’s family. On the contrary, Macedonian groom’s friends shave his beard the night before the wedding. Like in Ireland, he heads to the bride’s house on the wedding day and they exchange presents. Macedonian brides try hard to look as gorgeous as possible. They receive bouquets and cake from the godfather and also gold jewelry from parents. Irish brides look very traditional with flowers in the hair and a horseshoe which is believed that brings luck. In Macedonia, before the marriage ceremony, the Best man puts money in the bride’s shoe so that she has a very rich life with her husband. For the happiest day of their lives the couple receives many best wishes along with a lot of presents. They greet their guests with wine, good music and tasty food. Despite the cultural differences, there is a great celebration in both countries.

Learning to write and speak a foreign language correctly requires having somebody to correct your grammar and usage errors.
Otherwise you may learn a substandard version of the language with deep-rooter mistakes and incorrect usages that are hard to get rid of.
A popular and tried-and-true way to learn languages involves writing texts in a foreign language on a daily basis and reading them aloud to a native speaker, who will correct any mistakes.
Native speakers or language professionals will review your text and correct all errors of style or grammar free of charge.
You can also request a sound recording of the spoken version of your corrected text that will let you hear the subtleties of pronunciation by a native speaker.
